How do we protect visitor information?

Date: 8-26 thru 8-28-2016

Location: Ella Hill Hutch Recreation Center

Time: Friday 4:00 pm to 10 pm

Saturday – 8:00am to 6:00pm

Sunday – 8:00am to 2:00pm

All participants are expected to understand and follow all rules governing the tournament.

The rules are as follows:

18 years of age and older will need to have a current Picture Identification card to participate in the tournament.

  1. Any abuse of an official in any manor, is grounds for Termination from the tournament. Fee’s will be FORFEITED and not REFUNDED.
  2. Any verbal or physical abuse of another player at any time is grounds for Termination from the tournament. Fee’s will be FORFEITED and not REFUNDED.
  3. To participate for the grand prizes (money awards) you must produce current picture identification.
  4. On a foul, the team being fouled will take ball out on sideline. After 5 fouls, the person being fouled will shoot two 1-point free throw shots from free throw line.
  5. Each game will have a time limit of fifteen minutes, the team with the lead, or most point at the 15-minute mark will be the winner.
  6. Each made basket inside the three-point line will be worth one point, any shot above the three-point line will be worth two points.
  7. Each team must clear the key before a shot can be taken. Once the ball has been cleared of the key, the next shot does not have to be cleared.
  8. On a made basket, the team that did not score, takes ball out.
  9. Each team will be allowed two 1-minute time outs and 1 three-minute injury time out.
  10. At the end of 15 minutes, if the scores are tied, there will be a flip of a coin, winner of the flip will take ball out at top of the key. The first team to score is the winner. If the player shooting is fouled on the shot, and the shot is made, the team taking the shot wins the game.
  11. Players can only play on one team.

  • For eligibility purpose at division 1 institutions it is permissible for a prospect to accept prize money based on their place finish or performance in an open athletics event (i.e.; an event that is not invitation only). The amount of prize money that a prospect may accept cannot exceed his or her actual and necessary expenses to compete in that event and can only be provided by the sponsor of the open event.
  • For prospects that plan on competing at the division 2 level it is permissible to accept prize money prior to enrolling in a collegiate institution.
  • For prospects that plan on competing at the division 3 level, it is permissible to accept prize money prior to enrolling in a collegiate institution provided the prize money is awarded by the sponsor of the event.
